My Me-Time This 20 th , I was relatively free and was getting bored; also HBO, Living Foodz & Epic were also of no help so a wild and (and very close-to-my-heart-feeling) ran across me: Prepare some delicacy for My Better Half J I decided to surprise her with PineApple cake with Vanila icecream. And in no time, I was up and running; gathering/buying items for PineApple cake (In fact, round the year you can find dollops of vanilla ice cream in our fridge, so buying ice cream wasn’t a requirement). So, for Novices or Adventurous-Souls-Who-Wanna-Impress-Their-Wife with their culinary skills; here’s a brief of items requirement: ð Baking Powder: ½ Tea Spoon ð Baking Soda: ¼ Tea Spoon ð Curd: 2 TeaSpoon Why Curd?? We are vegetarians so, for a cake: curd does the same thing as Egg, i.e. giving richness, or in layman terms you can say for acting like an “Adhesive”. ð Maida: 2 Cups ð Clarified butter: ½ Cup ð Custard Powder: ½ Cup ð Milk: 2 Cups

Trip from Bengaluru-Puducherry & back... During this extended weekend of Raksha-bandhan from 27/8/2015 to 30/8/2015; we travelled to Puducherry from Bengaluru (and back) by our Wagon R 2010 model. As always, before travelling I went through the travelogues from Team BHP; but this time there wasn’t any latest travelogue, so I thought let me give you latest one J First thing first, some important points: ü Distance from Bengaluru (Koramangala) to Pondicherry: 375 kms. ü Route Taken: Koramangala -> Elevated Expressway to Electronic City -> Hosur -> Krishnagiri -> Vellore -> Ambur -> Arcot -> Tindivanam -> Puducherry Same route while returning. > You’ll have to cross 5 Tolls in between: E. City Toll – Charge Rs. 45, Hosur Toll – Charge Rs. 60, Krishna Giri Toll- Charge 75, Another Toll ( I don’t remember) – Charge 39, Puducherry Toll – Charge 60. G

So, here I am with my "Lip-Smackingly-Fantabously-Teekha-Chatpata-Delicious" review of "Chaat Waala" at Jyoti Nivas College Rd., Koramangala 5th Block. It was Ramzaan week, and our priority was tasting some locally prepared "Desserts" (Read it: We are Vegetarians) at "Ramzaan Stalls" of Koramangala. As our secondary priority was "Sweets", so we started scouting for our "Primary" priority of "Meal"; this is what I call "Reverse Engineering" in "Food" ;) So, with a common consensus, we rounded on "ChaatWala" for our meal (and again, as always, Zomato came to our help; and we weren't wrong in our decision). Just Learned in 2015 - Once you talk L-E-A-N , " Why Why Analysis " is the first step of ladder; "Identifying" "Replication", "Flow Analysis" or for that matter "Perfecting the Cause" comes later. - Also, targeting waste directly with focussed variation (generally, by Trial & Error Method ) helps in eliminating waste in more efficient manner. - Important part of "KAIZEN" , taking feedback from your Human Assets . - At last it's TEAM ( with capital "T" in it) and not just bunch of Individuals.
